“Born in South Florida, I have always dreamed of returning to live in my home state. Being a little older and wiser, I have fallen in love with the cooler, quieter side of Florida.
As a child I traveled a great deal, living in Alberta, Canada, Lisbon, Portugal, and Guinea Bissau, West Africa as well as various parts of the United States. For the better part of my adult life, I landed in northeast Texas where I attended Austin College and received a BA in English with an emphasis in creative writing, a BA in Mathematics, and an MA in Teaching with an emphasis in secondary Mathematics and a special interest in the symbols of mathematics as a structured language. I served as a secondary Mathematics Teacher in northeast Texas for 7 years.
Today, I am enjoying a slower paced, more sensory friendly life working as a massage therapist and energy worker. I strive for a holistic treatment that furthers the highest good of my clients.
Alongside this, I crochet ponchos that are highly textured and bring me a sense of comfort. I also enjoy working with pencil and pen and am creating a magical world through children's stories with inspiration taken from local plants and wildlife while I work to create my best life!”
