Uncovering Root Cause With Lab Tests

Functional lab testing is now available as part of our functional wellness practice, and we’re thrilled to share about this tool to uncover root cause and support your journey to optimal wellness.

Lab tests can provide insights to:

  • Toxin

  • Pathogen

  • Hormone Neurotransmitter

  • Allergy

  • Overall Health

The primary goal of root cause testing is to uncover the root cause of an existing problem through testing. Knowing the root cause, we can devise a plan to treat the underlying cause to heal the symptoms.

The path to total wellness is a journey.

You have options with your lab testing

With lab testing performed by Dr. Rob, you may elect a comprehensive panel of labs to see where you stand across the board, whether as a starting point or to compare against previous results.

If you come with more specific concerns, Dr. Rob can utilize verbal interview, symptom review, and applied kinesiology to conduct a preliminary assessment that will be used to guide his recommendations for which type of labs would be most beneficial for your unique situation.

Led by Dr. Rob, sent out with care

Dr. Rob oversees all lab testing, and the processing is done through outside labs in professional and clinical settings.

The results will show numbers, but they need to be interpreted properly. The key to making functional lab testing work for you is not just looking at the numbers to see if they fall out of “normal” range, which can miss key points to the story.

The goal for functional lab testing should be to determine all of the factors influencing your health, and to determine if you can improve any aspect for optimum health. A functional analysis of your results can both help determine the underlying cause of health problems and help develop a roadmap to a healthier you.
